Aurora honored its four area Pearl Harbor survivors at a luncheon held by the Navy League of the United States Aurora Council. Sea Cadets from the Aurora Division showed service in action as they saw to the doors for the many guests arriving and played the music for the event. Speaker Rear Admiral Clifford Sharp, who commands the Naval Service Training Command at Great Lakes, took time out after the luncheon to meet with our Sea Cadets and learned about their exciting training experiences at advanced trainings throughout the fleet. It was great he could see them in action serviing the crowd of veterans, active duty military, cvic leaders and interested citizens.

Bravo Zulu to our Pearl Harbor survivors, living witnesses to Honor, Courage and Commitment.
